The Faculty of Management Sciences participated in the traditional Songkran Day event of Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus which is the preservation and continuation of Thai Culture which is the national heritage that will never be lost
On Tuesday, 11 April 2023, Dr. Jumpoth Boriraj, the Dean, along with the administrators and personnel of the Faculty of Management Sciences, participated in the traditional Songkran Day event of Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus. The Songkran Day event is a form of preservation of Thai culture, the national heritage of Thailand that will never be lost, that was held at Phor Pu Khao Shrine. To begin the ceremony, sacred things were brought to Phor Pu Khao Shrine through the Khao Nam Sap nature trail. Afterwards, an offering of dried food to 9 monks were made and a replica of the Chinnasih Buddha was paraded from the Sri Thammakaset Building (Building 12) to the Physical Education Center (Building 13). This event also promotes the preservation of Thai games. To conclude the event, there was a bathing ceremony for the Buddha images, and offering of blessings to the elders at the 13th building of Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus.
