The Faculty of Management Sciences from Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus attended a meeting with Thai Steel Cable Public Company Ltd. for a partnership in granting scholarships and accepting work placements
On the 7th of March 2023, the Faculty of Management Sciences from Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus was led by Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Professory Raksakul Cheewakoset, assisted by Ms. Radha Umprasert and Ms. Morakot Reuncharoen, who are both educators, jointly discussed with Ms. Kasita Pitaksongkram, Ms. Wanwisa Homyenyen, and Ms. Arisa Simhong from Thai Steel Cable Public Company Ltd. on the consideration of granting scholarships and accepting work placements for students of the faculty who are seeking internships and applying for special jobs in order to earn extra income.
The company and the faculty’s recognition of the importance of the students’ career preparation opens opportunities for students to be able to earn extra income to make the students more capable of supporting their own selves and relieve any existing family burdens.
A preliminary consultation in consideration of the granting of scholarships for excelling students and good conduct students was done for the acceptance of students for internships and accepting students who can work part-time. This included the discussion of other matters for students to gain knowledge, first-hand experiences from prepared agencies and continuous operation efficiency.
