In collaboration with the Faculty of Management Sciences, the Science Faculty have invited two of the professors from the Faculty of Management Sciences. These two professors have received the invitation to share their knowledge through a training titled “Soft Skills in the Workplace: Email Writing, Work Conduct, and Communication Skills” with the fourth year level students of the Science Faculty
Professor Dr. Chayapoj Lee-anant (Prof. Alex) and Professor Dr. Phornprom Rungrueang (Prof. Ting), both professors in the Faculty of Management Sciences from Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus, were invited by the Science Faculty to conduct a training titled “Soft Skills in the Workplace: Email Writing, Work Conduct, and Communication Skills” in order to share knowledge to the fourth year level students of the Science Faculty of Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus. The event was held on the 25th of February 2023 from 8:30-16:00 in the meeting room 1 at the 2nd floor of Building 26.
The Dean of the Science Faculty, Asst. Prof. Dr. Puengboon Pansila came to give opening remarks and gave encouragements for the students in attendance before the presentation.
For this one day workshop by Prof. Alex and Prof. Ting, they have given the participating students a closed consultation. There were no other requirements assigned for this workshop other than the students’ prepared resumes. Additionally, the students were taught how to present themselves with a good work conduct–this included the proper sitting and walking posture, proper attire when attending an interview. After being trained on proper work interview conduct, the attending students were asked to evaluate the training, feedbacks were “good” and “hopefully there will be more activities similar to this one”.
